1. Our commitment
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA across abfiel.com. We also have duties under the Equality Act 2010 to make reasonable adjustments for disabled people, which we apply to our website, our written materials and our training delivery.
2. What we have done
- Semantic HTML with a single clear heading structure on every page.
- Text and interface colours chosen to meet AA contrast ratios against their backgrounds.
- Keyboard-operable navigation, forms, filters and booking dialogs.
- Descriptive link text and alternative text on meaningful images.
- Responsive layouts that reflow at 400% zoom without horizontal scrolling.
3. Known limitations
- Some downloadable PDF reports are generated dynamically and may not be fully tagged for screen readers. We will supply an accessible alternative on request.
- Third-party sign-in screens from Google, Apple and Microsoft are outside our control.
4. Training accessibility
Tell us about access requirements when you request a booking and we will make adjustments: large-print or digital handouts, extra time in assessments, step-free venues, captioned virtual sessions, British Sign Language interpretation arranged in advance, and rest breaks.
5. Feedback and enquiries
If you encounter a barrier, or need content in an alternative format such as large print, plain text or an accessible document, email support@abfiel.com. We aim to respond within five working days.
6. Enforcement
If you are not happy with our response, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) at equalityadvisoryservice.com.
