1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. Similar technologies include local storage, which our client portal uses to hold your session securely.
2. What we use
- Strictly necessary — authentication. When you sign in to the client portal, your session token is stored in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in. It is cleared when you sign out.
- Strictly necessary — security. Cross-site request forgery protection on form submissions, set for the duration of your visit.
- Strictly necessary — preferences. Small values that remember interface state, such as filters you apply to the course calendar.
We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking pixels, or third-party marketing trackers. Because the cookies we set are strictly necessary for a service you have requested, they do not require consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations — but you can still block them as described below.
3. Third parties
Signing in with Google, Apple or Microsoft sends you briefly to that provider, which sets its own cookies under its own policy. Embedded content, where used, may also set cookies on the provider's behalf.
4. Controlling cookies
Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies and site data from its privacy settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent the client portal from working — you will be signed out on every page load.
